These two things make all waterfowlers palms sweat! Available for the first time on the open market, is an equity share in one of the best kept secrets in the Red River Basin, the famed Cypress Bayou Corporation.

This secret has been handed down through the generations of outdoor families in Southwest Arkansas. Cypress Bayou Corporation is approximately 4,100 acres of timberland (predominately hardwood) lying amongst other famous hunting clubs, such as Grassy Lake, Yellow Creek, Po-Boy. All of the clubs are intensively managed for the wintering waterfowl as well as deer and turkey.

Located just South of the renown Millwood Lake, this area is said to be the wintering waypoint for every duck in the Red River Flyway. Pond Creek NWR to the north and Bois D’Arc WMA and Sulphur River WMA to the south, you get the picture. This wildlife mecca was formed by the merger of three rivers, Red River, Little River, and the Saline River which has formed some one of the most fertile basins in the Red River Valley.

24 duck blinds and duck holes are scattered throughout the bottom are maintained and brushed throughout the season. Club Grounds and roads are maintained year round by a full time caretaker.

With 4.6 Miles of Beard’s Lake, 4.3 mile of Little River frontage, pin oak flats, buck-brush flats, and winding sloughs meander through out the property. You’ll have private access to some of the best crappie, bass, and bow fishing in this part of the country. Gobbles echo across the bottom and hardwood ridges in the spring, as turkey hunting is as good as it gets in Southwest Arkansas.

With a well managed deer herd, you’ll have access to 24 groomed foodplots and maintained box stands throughout the 4,100 acres.  This membership also comes with a hilltop cabin overlooking the majestic riverbottom hardwood tract. This rustic cabin sits at the registered highest elevation in Hempstead County. Gazing from your screened porch, you’ll watch the fall migration arrive. The Corporation also owns a clubhouse that provides for group entertaining, meetings, and has private rooms for lodging.

This area also lays claim to two world record North American alligator harvests and the Arkansas squirrel hunting at its best.
