Steve Whitehead Rural Land Sales Agent Steve Whitehead has lived his entire life in Magnolia, Arkansas. His passion is the outdoors. As such he earned a degree in forest management form Louisiana Tech University. His practical experience includes owning and operating crop producing and cattle production farms. Also, he has over 30 years experience from owning a construction business that includes constructing commercial buildings, road and street construction, residential development and commercial properties for lease. Further, Steve started Whitehead Forestry Services, Inc. in 1992 and has been an active consulting forester ever since. As a professional forester his services include timber inventory, land acquisition, land management for timber and wildlife, timberland financial consulting, hunting leases, oil and gas leases and production, agricultural leases, environmental assessments in streams, wetlands, biodiversity, and carbon credits. Steve is the manager of a commercial hunting club and is active in the acquisition and preservation of lands for natural conservation with the Southern Lands Conservancy, LLC. When taking breaks from all of his duties and responsibilities he enjoys spending time with his wife, Julia, and three children, Will, Sam, and Anna, along with enjoying bow hunting and fishing in South Arkansas and the Western states.
